Bruce Baker is a long time resident of Westminster.  With his spouse, they designed and built a house on the lot they purchased in 1992.

Starting his professional career with three years of active duty (and several years on reserve status) with the US Army, Baker spent the next 38 years as a retail pharmacist.  As a pharmacist Baker served in professional, continuing education and management roles.  In community service he has been a Boy Scout leader and youth sports coach.  He has served multiple times in political organizations and as a delegate to higher political meetings.  Baker was active in the Westminster Water Warriors re-call campaign of 2020/2021.  He has served two terms as a Westminster City Councillor, 2013 to 2017 and 2021 to 2023.

Baker has been active in city issues and his position have been transparent and openly expressed.  He is the author of many published articles, many Letters to the Editor and has been the subject of several articles.
